About the Project

The Blakes Hill developments comprise of the design and construction of 10 new houses built to 'Code for Sustainable Homes' level 6 Standard.

The Code For Sustainable Homes (CfSH) is an environmental rating system for housing in England Wales, and Northern Ireland. The Code measures the performance of a house of 9 Criteria to assess the overall environmental impact. These are:

• Energy & CO2 emissions
• Water
• Materials
• Surface Water run-off
• Waste
• Pollution
• Health & Well-being
• Management
• Ecology

 The blackes Hill development has targeted a Level 6 Standard; this is the highest rating available under the CfSH assessment methodology.
